"How do you release something to the world that is so close to your heart? This is a picture of a book that The Lord used to change my life literally. And I wrote it! Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve wanted to write a book. I went to college knowing I would be an author, but it didn’t happen right away. While I was in a season of raising children and creating a home, the Lord was calling me closer into His family and teaching me to focus on my eternal home.

While working with the youth at church, I learned about spiritual disciplines. These disciplines made me see for the first time what is the point of this life we live. They are disciplines that helped me find the balance of being mindful of the things of this life but keeping my eyes and heart set on eternity. We tend to think of discipline as a bad thing, but it’s not. Discipline is a gentle correction into the right way of doing things. Between the covers is the place where my little girl dream and the Holy Spirt came together to create a book that I pray encourages you as much as it does me. But more so, I pray it leads you to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior."
